Stroke is known as the most common neurological disorder requiring rehabilitation. It is essential to assess the efficiency of rehabilitation for good practice. Studies on stroke rehabilitation led to the development of outcome measures, which can provide better assessment of stroke. In this review, functional and quality of life scales, commonly used and familiar to clinicians, are presented with their advantages and limitations.
