The incidence of hemiplegia due to cerebrovascular accident is increasing with aging and hemiplegia is the primary cause of long-term disability among the aged population. Comorbid diseases in aged patients have a negative influence on the therapy course. In this review comorbid problems and rehabilitation methods for aged hemiplegic patients were investigated.
