Myeloma, multiple myeloma or plasmacytoma is a malignant tumour originating from plasma cells that synthesize immunoglobulin in abnormal amount and invade the bone marrow. Multiple myeloma constitutes 27% of whole bone tumours and with this ratio it is the most common malign tumour of the bone. Bone involvements with localized or extensive musculoskeletal pain are characteristic. Multiple myeloma is a rare but important pathology that must be considered in differential diagnosis of patients admitting to physical therapy outpatient clinics with nonspecific bone pain or artralgia. We examined a rare, non-secretory type multiple myeloma case that we had detected sclerotic bone lesions besides ordinary lytic lesions, with respect to demonstrative musculoskeletal system involvement.
